This is a Test

Something most people don't realize is that the simple and exhilarating act of recreational boating and fishing enhances peoples' quality of life, preserves the country's natural beauty and contributes significantly to the U.S. economy. Surveys from various sources point to the same conclusions and show just how important these two activities are.

  • The number of Americans who boat and fish each year is more than 50 million, surpassing the combined number of those who golf and play tennis.
  • Each year, more than $600 million a year in fishing license sales and $200 million in private donations are contributed directly to local conservation efforts.
  • Approximately 17 million anglers fish from boats and spend roughly $10 billion on boating activities, a huge boost for our economy.

By contributing space for this public service announcement, you'll help spread the word and, in the end, help preserve our nation's waterways for future generations.

Thank you in advance for being a champion of the great outdoors.
