The American College of Gastroenterology is the leading medical organization dedicated to digestive health. Since 2002, Plowshare has worked closely with ACG on a number of national public education communications initiatives dealing with digestive diseases and conditions. Our first assignment was to position and promote awareness of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), a condition that affects an estimated 58 million Americans. Our network TV campaign let sufferers know the symptoms of IBS and more importantly that there are new, effective treatment options available to them. Plowshare worked with ACG on a TV advertising campaign, promoting awareness of acid reflux disease and urging people to call for a free informative video. Most recently, Plowshare launched an extensive print campaign that articulates the benefits of a complete colonoscopy, the most effective screening method for colon cancer. This effort also has physician education component. |
